Wait a minute,
Since we are going to have our movie produced by someone with more than 100 bucks, does this mean we won’t be doing our dolly shots with a wheelchair anymore?
Maybe we can work a one time wheelchair clause into the contract. Or maybe just a clause that says that’ll be my director’s chair. It’ll be like an FDR thing…people respected him right?

Sweaty Palms: The Meeting Follow up
The meeting went very well and we stood our ground, which was important. We told them we wrote the film to make it, not sell it, and, just as important, we wrote it to direct it.
Now that they understand that and the type of movie we want this to be, they are redrawing up a contract for us. It sounds like they, being a smaller local company, want to help us out and not screw anyone...

Today:
We have a meeting with the production company interested in our feature. They gave us a development contract a week or so ago, we reviewed it, had a lawyer review it, and now we have the follow up meeting to discuss it…and we have changes we want made.
We’ll see how this all goes. It would be nice not to have to raise all the money ourselves.
